Thomas Rhett is gearing up for the release of his upcoming fourth studio album, Center Point Road, which will drop on May 31. The 16-song album takes its name from the street in his Tennessee hometown that shaped much of TRâs life experiences.
TR co-penned every track on the album, which also features a number of collaborations, including Kelsea Ballerini (âCenter Point Roadâ), Little Big Town (âDonât Threaten Me With a Good Timeâ) and Jon Pardi (âBeer Canât Fixâ), which is available now.
Penned by TR, Julian Bunetta, Zach Skelton and Ryan Tedder, âBeer Canât Fixâ was inspired by a golf outing.
âI was playing golf with one of my producers, Julian Bunetta, in Knoxville and we were both playing terribly, so we decided to drink a beer and suddenly we both started playing much better,â Thomas Rhett says. âJulian looked at me and said âWell, ainât nothing a beer canât fixâ and we both were like, âWe have to write that.â As soon as it was done I knew I wanted Jon on it. Itâs basically about not taking life too seriously, and I just knew Jonâs voice would be the perfect addition to the song.â
