Miranda Lambert is gearing up to drop a new single, âBluebird,â from her seventh studio album, Wildcard. The hopeful tune follows the release of lead single, âIt All Comes Out in the Wash,â in July.
âBluebird, which Miranda co-wrote with Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby, impacts country radio on Dec. 9.
âThis song is special,â says Miranda. âItâs got this hope to it. Itâs got a darkness too, though, but itâs also hopeful. Life is going to give you lemons, period. If there wasnât problems then we wouldnât appreciate the great days, but going through those things and overcoming problemsâwhatever they areâmakes us strong and appreciate the sun. You know, itâs like ten straight days of rain and then the sun comes out and youâre like, âI forgot how much I loved it.â Since we wrote âBluebird,â Iâve been seeing bluebirds everywhere. And the bluebirds have been there, but I never saw them like I see them now. It kinda reminds me to open my eyes to whatâs around me.â
